RICHARD 'BIFF' STANNARD
WRITER / PRODUCER / REMIXER
Richard 'Biff' Stannard has been a record producer and songwriter for nearly fifteen years. In that time he has won two Ivor Novello Awards, been nominated for a Grammy twice, and has won numerous Ascap Awards. His career has seen him work with artists as diverse as U2, Kylie Minogue, Bono, Charlotte Church, David Gray, and the Spice Girls, with whom Richard co-wrote their seminal 90's pop classic 'Wannabe' as well as writing and producing on tracks from the band’s debut album ‘Spice’ which has sold 23 million copies worldwide.
2007 saw Biff hard at work with Kylie Minogue which resulted in the singles ‘In My Arms’ and his freemasons collaboration ‘The One’ as well as another song featuring on her tenth studio album. Biff also wrote and produced two new songs with the Spice Girls which were included on their Greatest Hits album, which included the single ‘Headlines’. 2008 saw Biff working on tracks with Sophie Ellis Bextor for her new album, has producing the single ‘Grace’ from Will Young (as well as writing and producing the album track ‘This Is Who I Am). This year Biff has been co-writing with Epic artist Paloma Faith and 679 artists Little Boots and Marina & The Diamonds. He also continues to collaborate with the Freemasons for various projects and their own album.
